Scum of the avian world

Currawongs are the scum of Australian bird species. Their primary diet is the young of other birds. I just watched one kill a fledgeling Crested pigeon and fly off with it. No remorse, no guilt. Just causing grief to hundreds of parent birds. And guess what? They are protected, Why? Scum of the earth. They wedge the head of their victem in a fork in a tree and then tear it apart. Don't leave a baby anything unattended outside when these monsters are likely to be about. Yuk!
